My journey to health started in 2019 when I was in process of my move to North Carolina. The wife had moved out first and then the kids and I stayed behind until June. In that time I started walking nightly after work. I started home yoga when i get hear in June and I was 255lbs.

Through the rest of 2019 i was eating somewhat healthier but I was drinking a lot in the evenings. Red wine was the drink of choice but it was shit wine and was too much of it pushing up those calorie counts.

We all know what happened in March of 2020. I was lucky to keep my job and work even more. But the nightly drinking got worse by May when I started just enjoying vodka on the rocks at night. I knew it became a problem when I started waking up many days with hang overs.

I quit 98% of my drinking.

I went 30 days no alcohol, Then 60 days no alcohol. Now the alcohol consumption is only on holidays and not even all Holidays.

Made another goal

I got motivated after eliminating almost all alcohol consumption so I went hardcore (for me) and I made a coal to get to 190lbs by Nov 2020. I hit that goal just by cutting out all alcohol and walking twice a day 5-7 days a week.
